Hello, prospective client, I'm Clinical Psychologist Batuhan Uğraş. Welcome to the journey of self-discovery and healing. Therapy is an adventure of rediscovery, exploration, and self-realization, and I commend you for taking this important step. As your companion on this journey, I'm here to support you without judgment and help you navigate through your personal exploration. In our sessions, I integrate approaches from Schema Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Schemas, formed during childhood, shape our perceptions and beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world. While some schemas are positive and adaptive, others may be negative and maladaptive, leading to psychological difficulties such as anxiety and depression, as well as challenges in relationships. In our journey together, we'll work to identify and understand your maladaptive schemas, empowering you to overcome their negative influence on your life. Through exploration and intervention, we'll address these schemas and develop healthier, more adaptive beliefs and behaviors. In terms of my background, I completed my undergraduate studies at Başkent University, Department of Psychology, and earned my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Atılım University. I received specialized training in Schema Therapy, Short-Term Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Rational Affective Cognitive Therapy (REBT). Additionally, I completed training in Couple, Family, and Group Therapy. During my professional journey, I've gained experience in various settings, including clinical practice, supervision, and research, allowing me to work effectively with clients dealing with depression, OCD, personality disorders, anxiety, sexual issues, and relationship problems. I'm committed to providing individualized, evidence-based treatment tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. Together, we'll create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore, heal, and grow.
