About the expert

Clinical Psychologist Suat Keçeci completed his undergraduate education in the Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım Üniversitesi in 2018. He later earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at İstanbul Kent Üniversitesi under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zihni Sungur. During his graduate studies, he presented a project titled “Coping with Stress and Psychological Resilience of Individuals with Different Sexual Orientations.” Throughout his undergraduate and graduate education, he completed internships at various educational institutions (colleges, study centers, and private security companies), the Guidance and Research Center, and Erenköy Ruh ve Sinir Hastalıkları Hastanesi. Following his graduation, he worked in various educational institutions and at different levels, carrying out numerous projects and studies. He continued his professional career for a period in a private special education and rehabilitation center. Having the opportunity to work with children and adolescents with diverse characteristics and needs — including gifted/special-talented individuals, hearing-impaired individuals, individuals with autism, hyperactivity, anxiety and phobia disorders, and behavioral disorders — greatly contributed to his ability to understand them and develop appropriate therapeutic approaches. During this period, he also had the opportunity to provide individual therapy to families of children with special needs. In Psychological Counseling Centers, he provided therapy services for children, adolescents, and adult clients, supporting them in resolving their psychological difficulties. After receiving training in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, he completed training and supervision processes in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy successfully. He currently continues his professional practice within the framework of the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy approach and continues to receive supervision training in this field.
