Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES)

One of the most widely used scales for measuring individuals’ general self-worth and levels of self-esteem. It helps identify the person’s positive or negative thoughts about themselves and is used to evaluate the impact of self-esteem on psychological well-being.

1 - feel that I am a person of worth, at least on an equal plane with others.

2 - I feel that I have a number of good qualities.

3 - I am able to do things as well as most other people.

4 - I take a positive attitude toward myself.

5 - On the whole, I am satisfied with myself.

6 - At times, I think I am no good at all.

7 - I feel ashamed of myself at times.

8 - I feel I do not have much to be proud of.

9 - I certainly feel useless at times.

10 - All in all, I am inclined to feel that I am a failure.
